Linda began using Macintosh computers in 1988 as a graphic artist/typesetter. She first used FileMaker (v1.0!!) in 1995 before it was published by Claris.

Linda lives in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, the beautiful gateway to the Cherohala Skyway near the Great Smokey Mountains. She enjoys hiking and just being outdoors, fixing things when they break instead if discarding them, and making jewelry—a lot of it using recycled and upscaled materials.

Linda is a member of First Baptist Church where she assists with the video and sound systems and sings in the choir and ladies ensemble. She plays a ukulele… but not well. 🙂

Linda joined the Scott Howard Consulting/Moss Rock Solutions team in 2018.

Abby joined Moss Rock Solutions in 2021 and is the Executive Assistant. She is involved in marketing and networking for the company and is thorough in her work.

Aside from work, she enjoys dancing professionally, hiking, and spending time with her husband and German Shepherd. She is also a proud military spouse of the United States Air Force.

Scott loves learning how people get things done and finding ways to improve inefficient processes. He has been designing custom software for organizations in most industries for over 25 years. His greatest earthly delights are his wife of over 33 years, Mitzi, and their four grown kids and son-in-law. Any given week he is running long distances, hiking, reading, and spending time with family or friends. Scott and Mitzi often coach young couples preparing for marriage and working on their marriages.

Lindsey has been working for Moss Rock Solutions as the administrative assistant since August of 2021. She is currently getting a degree in communications management and is in her last semester at University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her downtime, you can find her at home learning how to crochet or make jewelry, or you’ll find her at the thrift store hunting for hidden gems.

Since Moss Rock Solutions, formerly Scott Howard Consulting, started creating custom solutions for clients in 2007, Mitzi has worked as Project Manager and Administrator. Since 2013, our company grew from 3 full-time developers to 13 full-time and part-time team members. She is the most technically challenged of our group, which makes her the Go To for testing our solutions. If it can be broken, she will break it.

Serving our clients by making sure needs and expectations are met and exceeded is her number one goal.

She is a mother of four, loves playing the piano and enjoying family and friends.

Kim joined Moss Rock Solutions in 2017. She enjoys digging into a solution to solve problems, assisting/supporting other developers, and helping clients with their slightest problem. Kim loves working from her home and has several years of experience dating back to the pre-advent of personal computers.

Fun fact about Kim is that her first college course dealing with computers was the last time the University of Tampa used a card punch machine and a card stack for code
free time (free time? what’s that?). Her favorite activities include reading, knitting and crocheting, doing whatever her husband does, and spending time with her wonderful children, their awesome spouses, and her fabulous grandkids.

Originally a Yankee born in New Jersey, she is now a born-again believer in Jesus Christ our Lord and lives in the deep South.

Tim came to Moss Rock Solutions in 2014 after a 30+ year career in Mainframe Data Center Operations. Tim is a FileMaker developer whose main goal is to create software solutions that delight the customer.

When not working, Tim enjoys spending time with his family in Alabaster, Alabama, woodworking, and working outside.

Nick joined Moss Rock Solutions in 2015 and is a Full-Stack developer. He specializes in FileMaker development and integrations with services and APIs. Nick enjoys the problem-solving aspect of custom app development and often tackles rapid development projects.

In his free time, Nick enjoys exercise, outdoor work, music production, and brewing artisan coffee. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College ’21.

Nick lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

Drayton joined Moss Rock Solutions in 2019 and is a Full-Stack developer. He specializes in web development using Reactjs as a frontend and Nodejs to design servers to communicate with various databases. Drayton enjoys creating functional as well as appealing web apps. He also enjoys collaborating with the rest of the team to find solutions to complex processes.

In his free time, Drayton enjoys disc golf, exercise, outdoors, and playing his guitars. Drayton completed Innovate Birmingham’s software development bootcamp in 2018.

Drayton lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

David is passionate about building attractive, functional apps that serve their users and exceed expectations. He is a software developer, proficient in front-end development with React, React Native and FileMaker Pro. His programming career got its start in 2023, joining Moss Rock Solutions as an accounting assistant while he progressed through a front-end software development education program. He’s a reliable team player who promptly anticipates the needs of his clients and colleagues.

In his own time, David is a skilled home cook, enjoys tasting great new restaurants, and works out at the gym.

He has lived in Birmingham, Alabama his whole life and loves the city.
